The significance and impact of the Paralympics Center

Paralympic Center will have two meanings for the company:

1. Sports and social importance
2. Educational importance

Sports and social significance:

• Center of the national Paralympic team
• Summer Training Center
• Conditional-rehabilitation center
• PR activities - cultural, social and sports
• The organization of international sports events (MS, ME ...)
• Organizing Tournaments
• Organizing cultural events

The educational significance:

• Branch Office of the Trnava University, Faculty of Health and Social Work, College of Health and Social Work of St. Elizabeth
• Teaching and Practice
• Direct contact of students with different types of disabilities and necessary care
• Lecture and conference activities
• Charity work
• An informational center for the disabled
• Convalescence stays

The Center will operate year round. It will provide various programs and various types of visits with professional assistance, to contribute to the integration of the physically disadvantaged people into everyday life.

It will concentrate mainly on people with physical disabilities and athletes but also on young people and other athletes and the public. Great importance would have for all of us, if a connection has been achieved in the operation and communication between the healthy and disabled athletes and youth, that we could learn to exist together without any prejudices.

• Developing a database of disabled people
• The provision of retraining courses
• Help in finding employment and employment of disabled persons
• Cooperation with the European Social Fund
